Our mission is to improve our customers' quality of life through use of our aromatherapy herbal
products. We are artisans in the old-fashioned way: we consider our products art.
Our mission includes the goal of cat amusement and pacification through the use of Tough
Mouse(tm). This is not your ordinary catnip mouse. We grow much of our own catnip locally, and
produce a mouse your cat will thank you for, if he/she ever stops playing with it.
We began business in 1994 in Cowlitz County, Washington during residence deep in the forest
west of Castle Rock. Our first products, in 1994, were Kyphi potpourri, along with several other
potpourris including Beachcomber(tm), Doug Fir Up(tm), and Midnight Blue(tm). We added soaps
to the line in 1999. Our goal was to utilize only the finest all-natural ingredients, regardless of
cost, to produce quality-of-life enhancing products for the mind and body. Some of our products,
including Kyphi, were developed from recipes dating back centuries or millenia.
Pam is an ethnobotanist with a degree from Evergreen State College. Pam moved to Washington
State in 1983 after living in many states from coast to coast. Steve is a biological chemist from
Maryland, who moved to the Pacific Coast of Washington in the early '70s, and never looked back.
Together they've put decades of work into the products we sell.
Daydream's products were first sold in the Cowlitz County farmers' market in Longview,
Washington, almost 20 years ago. After moving to Bainbridge Island, Washington, the products
were offered in the Poulsbo, Washington Farmers' Market, as well as to loyal customers. We
available to their friends, neighbors, and families not only during market season, but throughout
the year, and throughout the nation.
Our products are hand-made from ingredients sometimes not available in large quantities, and
then sometimes only at high cost. We prepare these products in small batches, and can sell
them at a reasonable cost because there is no middleman - you are buying directly from the
maker. We take pride in our artisanal products.
